FoH Team Member
Salary: 19,500 to 24,395
Working as a member of the front of house team you will look after the food and beverage needs of our members, their guests and out visitors. The club provides a high quality of food and drink served at a 4 star standard. Our team have a friendly approach to the customers while delivering a high quality service.
- To sell drink, food and all other products to customers quickly and efficiently with an emphasis on pleasant, courteous and professional service.
- To provide a warm welcome and cheerful farewell to every customer thus enhancing the reputation of the Club and the overall “Royal Dornoch Experience”.
- To prepare the bar and restaurant for service ensuring that the customers find it clean and well-ordered at all times.
- To maintain the cleanliness of both the working area and the equipment used.
- To handle cash, issue change, use a cash register and loyalty card system in accordance with club policy.
- To maintain high standards of personal hygiene, dress and general appearance in accordance with Club policy.
- To observe, as applicable: Licensing Laws, Security arrangements, Procedures and instructions relating to fire, accidents and complaints, Hygiene and Health & Safety Regulations in force.
Full training will be given both on the job and at the local further education college for those who wish to enhance their qualifications and their careers.
FoH Supervisor
Salary: 20,709 to 25,058
As directed by the Front of House Team Leader manage the day to day bar & catering operations of the Club ensuring that all the agreed performance and service levels are achieved. In conjunction with this, ensuring the image and traditions of the Club are being upheld and promoted within the area of responsibility.
- Provision of a welcoming, relaxed and efficient bar & waiting service to members and visitors during all operational hours.
- Assist in effective financial control of all aspects of the bar & catering provision to ensure assigned profitability targets are consistently achieved.
- Assist in ensuring that all bar & waiting staff and facilities comply with all relevant licensing, health & safety and hygiene legislation.
- Management and development of all bar & waiting staff to ensure optimum deployment of these resources.
- Identify potential developments and expansion of the service offered to improve overall profitability, increased utilisation of facilities and enhance the enjoyment of members and visitors. Subsequently instigate such activities as are endorsed by Management.
- Develop and maintain constructive and co-operative relationships with club officials, other managers and departments to ensure the highest possible levels of service are provided thus enhancing the reputation of the Club and the overall “Royal Dornoch Experience”.
Front of House Team Leader
Salary: 25,058 to 28,236
Lead the front of house team to ensure that all the agreed performance levels are achieved and in conjunction with this, ensuring the image and traditions of the Club are being upheld and promoted within the area of responsibility.
- Lead the team in providing a welcoming, relaxed and efficient hospitality provision to members and visitors during all operational hours.
- Understanding of the financial aspects of the hospitality provision to help achieve the budget targets.
- Ensuring that all hospitality staff and facilities comply with all relevant licensing, health & safety and hygiene legislation.
- Assist in the organisation of the hospitality provision including maintaining efficient rotas to ensure optimum deployment of available staff; their training and team communication.
- Actively encouraging effective teamwork, individual contributions and the personal growth of all the hospitality team members.
- Rapid and effective resolution of all routine hospitality problems to facilitate a seamless service provision to members and visitors.
- Actively fostering positive and constructive interaction and co-operation with other teams within the club to improve the overall level of service provision.

Chef de Partie
Salary: 25,058 to 28,236
As a member of the kitchen team you will provide food for our members, their guests and our visitors. We pride ourselves on the quality of what the club provides and the satisfaction it gives to our customers.
- Help with the preparation and service of menu items, functions and staff meals.
- Managing the performance of the station that you have been allocated to ensure high levels of productivity and low wastage.
- Suggest and participate in discussions on dishes and menus.
- Accept deliveries, ensure stock is controlled & rotated and ensure minimum kitchen wastage and to communicate when stock is running low.
- Follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen, and to clean the areas and sections as directed.
- Working with all of the catering management team to ensure the kitchen is operating effectively and efficiently.
- Enforcing kitchen, personal and food hygiene policies within the kitchen.

Sous Chef
Salary: 28,782 to 30,830

- Capable of preparing, cooking and serving all dishes on the current menu’s as required whilst complying with all policies on quality, quantity, food hygiene and portion control.
- Working with all of the catering management team to ensure the kitchen is operating effectively and efficiently.
- Enforcing kitchen, personal and food hygiene within the kitchen.
- Covering for Head Chef while they are absent.
