Royal Dornoch features in Destination Golf guide

Royal Dornoch is one of the recommended courses in the latest Destination Golf Guide to Scotland’s Top 100 Courses.

Destination Golf is one of the worlds’ leading golf travel publishing companies, globally recognised and respected.

Its 2020 guide lists 100 exceptional courses in Scotland, with only some carrying the DG recommended logo.

The guide says of Royal Dornoch’s Championship Course that it ‘looks like you’ve stepped into a painting, so perfect do the holes look from the tee box’ and that ‘your arrival on the third tee is where you realise how perfect it is, while views from the 7th tee box display all of the course’s beauty’.

This is another fantastic accolade for the club and our staff, and we are delighted their hard work in maintaining the course to such a high standard is again being recognised.

Earlier this year the Championship Course was ranked No 2 in Scotland in the latest Golf Digest list which rated 550 courses across the country.

It was also ranked No 4 in the world this year in Golf Digest’s Top 100 courses outside the US and was named Number 1 in the world by a panel of industry leaders for golf reservation service golfscape.

In addition, in November, the course was ranked No 10 in GOLF magazine’s latest Top 100 Courses in the World list.
