ROYAL DORNOCH SHORTLISTED FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AWARD

ROYAL Dornoch Golf Club is delighted to have been shortlisted for Prosper’s Highlands and Islands Business Excellence Awards 2024.

The golf club is among the candidates selected for the Benromach Award for Excellence in International Business.

The Scottish Council for Development and Industry awards night is being held at the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel in Inverness on Thursday, September 12.

The evening is always a highlight on the region’s business calendar and this year’s host is Rory Bremner, the celebrated satirical impressionist, comedian and broadcaster.

The awards celebrate the positive impact that businesses across the Highlands and Islands have on their communities and the wider economy.

Royal Dornoch general manager Neil Hampton has welcomed the latest accolade to come the way of a golf club consistently ranked among the best in the world in golf publication rankings.

“Last year, Royal Dornoch was proud to receive the Crown Estate Scotland Award for Outstanding Supporter of Coastal Communities, which is displayed in the clubhouse,” he said.

“Given the economic impact visiting golfers from around the world have on the local community and the wider area, we are thrilled to be among those shortlisted for this year’s Benromach Award for Excellence in International Businesses.”
