DAVID’S UPDATES MEMBERS ON HIS EVEREST EXPEDITION

CPR campaigner David Sullivan is making tracks in his bid to reach Everest base camp – and beyond.

The Surrey based businessman plans to leave two Code Blue defibrillators with villagers in Nepal – but only after leading community heart start classes.

One of these state of the art ibattery operated nsulated units will be tested at 20,000 feet.

It is tucked away in a kitbag, along with a pin flag from Royal Dornoch, which has fitted potential lifesaving kits to the club’s fleet of buggies and a similar unit outside the Halfway House on the Championship Course.

David has enjoyed support from past captain Willie MacKay, current captain Gary Bethune and general manager Neil Hampton in his campaign to highlight the benefits of basic CPR.

He took the chance to record a short video message after passing the 4000 metre mark over the Easter weekend.
