RECOGNITION FOR CLUB’S GLOBAL APPEAL

ROYAL Dornoch is no stranger to being showered with accolades for our world-famous Championship Course.

Now the club’s key role in luring international visitors in their droves to the Highlands has been recognised with a shortlisting in the finals of the 25th annual Prosper Business Excellence Awards.

Royal Dornoch has been chosen along with SAMS Enterprise, Orion Engineering Services Ltd and Renewable Parts as a contender for the “Benromach Award for Excellence in International Business.”

As the leading private sector employer, with our stunning new clubhouse edging towards an eagerly anticipated official opening in 2026, the golf club has long been a key driver of the area’s economy.

Now a landmark event in the regional business calendar, the black-tie awards ceremony celebrates “outstanding impact in areas including innovation, leadership, customer service, and community contribution.”

An awards organiser said: “The 2025 finalists reflect the depth and diversity of the Highlands and Islands economy, with entries from island-based SMEs to internationally recognised organisations.”

The ceremony is being held at the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness on Thursday, September 11.
