ROYAL Dornoch Golf Club’s Community Fund has aided dozens of local organisations and charities over the past decade.
Applications are now being taken from groups and individuals within the IV25 postcode area for the 2024 grants.
The world-renowned golf club will be dispersing £10,000 from their visitor income.
Grants up to £500 will be distributed to a wide range of local causes.
General manager Neil Hampton said: “While Royal Dornoch attracts golfers from around the world, we remain a club with deep roots in the local community.
“Over the last decade the Council of Management has dispersed more than £60,000 to support individuals and groups in the Dornoch and Embo area.
“Our members, whether they are local or international, are committed to enhancing the area’s quality of life.”
The club’s Community Fund pay-outs continue in addition to £50,000 from visitor income now being given annually to the town’s Common Good Fund for dispersal as part of a 99-year lease for the links land agreed with Highland Council.
“It is a simple process to apply for our Community Fund grants,” stressed Neil.
“Applicants should contact the club for a form and, rest assured, it isn’t a complicated process.
“All they have to do is tell us what they are planning and how a grant from the golf club would help them with their project.”
Completed application forms should be returned to the Community Fund, Royal Dornoch Golf Club, Golf Road, Dornoch IV25 3LW or by emailing email@example.com by Friday, March 15.
